Serves: 2 to 3
INGREDIENTS
- 6 large Fairway eggs
- 1 tablespoon Fairway kosher salt
- 1/4 cup hot sauce
- 1 pound extra large (about 16 to 20) peeled and deveined shrimp
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 lemon, cut into half-moon slices
- 1 cup vegetable oil (optional, see Chef's Note)
DIRECTIONS
- In a large bowl, mix the eggs, salt, and hot sauce together.
- Dip the shrimp into the mixture, and then dredge them in the flour to evenly coat them.
- Place on a sheet pan and bake in a 350-degree oven for 15 to 18 minutes, or until fully cooked.
- Plate, garnish with lemon slices, and serve.
Chef's Note: If you prefer fried instead of baked Buffalo shrimp, fry the shrimp in 1 cup of vegetable oil in a large pan for about 7 minutes, or until fully cooked. Turn the shrimp as needed.
