Country Comfort Cookbook

Mary Elizabeth Roarke, co-author of the Country Comfort Cookbook Series and baker will host a book signing at Fairway Market Stamford on Sunday, Oct 16th from 11:00AM-1:00PM. In addition, her daughter, FCI trained, chef instructor and caterer, Nicole Roarke will demonstrate several of the recipes from the Random House series, Country Comfort Summer and Harvest cookbooks, which will highlight seasonal flavors.

She will also provide special chef's tips on techniques and plating. Samples of the dishes prepared will be shared and will include curried butternut squash, apple soup, herb roasted pork loin and warm stone fruit compote.

As always, all the ingredients and items used in the demonstration will be readily available in our store. This event is free to attend and there is no registration required. We hope to see you there!
