Mary Elizabeth Roarke, co-author of the Country Comfort Cookbook Series and baker will host a book signing at our Pelham Manor store on Saturday, June 26th from 11:00AM-1:00PM.
The Summer Favorites cookbook features several Fairway Market recipes and the forward was written by our very own Dan Glickberg. She will talk briefly about the concept of the books, the publishing process and how she outreached to other chefs and creative home cooks along the way to share their recipes.
What sets the series apart from other cookbooks is that many of the recipes include short stories about where they came from and what memories they evoke and chef tips throughout. Her daughter, French trained, Chef Instructor and caterer, Nicole Roarke will demonstrate several of the recipes from the books as well as giving you tips and providing you with creative plating ideas for your summer parties. Mary Elizabeth will demonstrate desserts. As always, all the items used will be readily available in our store.
