The tiny arbequina olive is cultivated in Catalonia, where it blossoms from hardy verdant trees that grow low to the ground in alkaline soil. When pressed, these green and purple olives exude a beautiful lightly-textured oil, that emits a delicate fragrance of cassis, apples, crushed autumn leaves, and almond. A suave and sophisticated oil, sweet and gentle hints of creamy, nutty, and fruit flavors intermingle in a complex dance on the palette.

Highly recommended for all-around use, we particularly like this oil drizzled on salads and seafood, or served in a emerald pool next to warm, crusty bread for a simple but elegant appetizer.
