Garlic Sausage in Puff Pastry

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 French garlic sausages
  • Flour
  • 1 box puff pastry
  • 1 Fairway organic egg
  • Dijon mustard

DIRECTIONS

  1. Remove the sausages from their casings.
  2. On a floured work space, roll out the puff pastry with a rolling pin.
  3. Cut the puff pastry into four equal pieces.
  4. Wrap each sausage in a piece of puff pastry to create four rolls, and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Beat the egg with a little water to make an egg wash, and brush it over each puff pastry.
  6. In a 400-degree oven, bake the rolls for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven, and slice each sausage roll into 6 pieces.
  8. Plate on a platter with toothpicks, and serve with Dijon mustard.
