INGREDIENTS
- Leftover turkey
- Leftover gravy
- Leftover mashed or sweet potatoes
- 2 slices per person of basic white bread
- Leftover stuffing
- Cranberry relish (room temperature)
DIRECTIONS
- Pick apart your turkey; make sure you get the “oyster“ on either side
- Heat leftover turkey meat with gravy in a pan, adding a little water if necessary. Make sure you don’t boil the meat (that will only toughen it)
- Heat the stuffing in the oven, just enough to warm thoroughly
- Place the bread on a warm plate
- Pile the turkey and gravy on the bread
- Layer on the stuffing, then spoon more gravy over the stuffing
- Layer on a spoonful of cranberry relish and mashed potatoes either on top of the sandwich or on each plate
- Feel free to change it up to your liking!
