INGREDIENTS
- Onions 80 % Spanish to 20 % red)
- Bread Crumbs
- Milk
DIRECTIONS
- Peel then cut onions into rounds (make sure they separate into single strands for the most part) soak in enough milk to just cover them
- When you are ready to fry, drain onion rings from the milk, shake off excess milk. Place in a bowl, sprinkle very, very lightly with flour (the lighter the better), and fry at once..
- Cook until golden brown in 350 degree oil (use corn, vegetable, sunflower, peanut or canola), drain well and salt.
