INGREDIENTS
- 8 cups ripe tomaotes, chopped
- 1/2 lb pasta (penne, ziti, etc)
- 1/2 cup Fairway Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 garlic clove , sliced paper thin
- 1 generous cup basil
- 1 pinch dry red pepper flakes
- 1 tin excellent tuna in olive oil
DIRECTIONS
- Chop tomatoes and place in a large bowl with olive oil, pepper flakes, garlic and tuna (drain the oil from the tuna first). Mix just to blend.
- Boil pasta as directed. When the pasta is done drain and add to bowl while still hot. Do Not Rinse. Mix and add the basil and salt.
