Pumpkin Pie

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 large Fairway eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 cans (22.5 ounces) solid pack pumpkin (also known as pure pumpkin or pumpkin puree)
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons Fairway ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Fairway ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon Fairway kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon Fairway pure vanilla extract
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch, deep-dish pie shell

DIRECTIONS

  1. Beat eggs in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add the pumpkin and mix.
  3. Add the brown and granulated sugar and mix.
  4. Add the milk, spices, salt, and vanilla, and mix well.
  5. Place the mixture in the ready-made pie shell.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until the center is set (if you poke the center with a toothpick, it should come out clean).
  7. Remove from oven, place on rack to cool, and serve.
