INGREDIENTS
- 3 large Fairway eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cans (22.5 ounces) solid pack pumpkin (also known as pure pumpkin or pumpkin puree)
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 1/4 teaspoons Fairway ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon Fairway ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon Fairway kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon Fairway pure vanilla extract
- 1 unbaked 9-inch, deep-dish pie shell
DIRECTIONS
- Beat eggs in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the pumpkin and mix.
- Add the brown and granulated sugar and mix.
- Add the milk, spices, salt, and vanilla, and mix well.
- Place the mixture in the ready-made pie shell.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until the center is set (if you poke the center with a toothpick, it should come out clean).
- Remove from oven, place on rack to cool, and serve.
