Groves situated in Provence of southern France in a lush valley of the Alpilles mountains, produce some of the best olives in the world to craft this extra-virgin oil. The first oil mill was built in this region in the 18th century, and in 1992 a French family revived the tradition of cultivating the land and crafting fine oil according to ancestral techniques. Five varieties of olives are united in this bottle, so that a strong vegetal taste, freshly cut grass, artichoke and arugula are immediately present. Next, you'll detect a building heat and tickle at the back of throat as the pungent pepper flavors rise. Throughout the experience, a buttery creaminess, hazelnut, and subtle notes of dried fruits may be detected.
