Rick Garcia began with Fairway in 1996 as a floor manager in our Harlem location. Through hard work and dedication, he moved up to assistant store manager in our Plainview location to help head the new store. Rick has over 25 years of experience in the food retail business, and he proudly walks the floors of our UWS location day in and day out. Rick says, “I am here to make sure that you receive the best service possible and get nothing but the best that Fairway Market has to offer.”

The famous (or infamous, as the case may be) Fairway Market at W. 74th Street and Broadway is our flagship store - the original, the veteran who has seen it all from the beginning, from expansions and celebrities, to 30+ year-long regulars and the brilliant café upstairs.
