We love this hearty and filling pasta, made from wholemeal and wheat semolina—and you will, too. Packaged pasta does not get more authentic than this; we found artisanal pasta makers in southern Italy who lovingly craft each noodle so that it tastes homemade, but this pasta will actually take less than 15 minutes for you to prepare. These long tubular shapes hold tomato sauce well, but they are also good enough to eat on their own with a drizzle of olive oil and a dash of salt.

Try a cream sauce, or saute with veggies like eggplant, tomato, onion and garlic. Use this in a cold pasta salad, or simply throw cold noodles in your vegetable salad. These sturdy noodles nicely complement starchy, autumn vegetables like squash, and zucchini, and try throwing in chicken for a protein-packed plate.
