Makes: 25 Cookies
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 pound flour
- 1/4 Tablespoon baking soda
- 1/3 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 pound butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1/4 Tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 pound walnuts
- 1/2 pound chocolate chunks
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Sift flour, baking soda, and salt together into a medium bowl and set aside.
- Place the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar in an electric mixer. Mix on medium speed until light and fluffy, about ten minutes.
- Add vanilla and eggs, and continue mixing for another minute.
- Add the sifted dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, followed by the walnuts and chocolate chunks, and mix until just combined.
- Roll golf-sized bowls of cookie dough into balls. Place about 3-inches apart on prepared cookie sheet.
- Bake for about ten minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown. Let cool and serve.
