Ingredients
King's Hawaiian Pretzel Bites
½ lb 90/10 ground beef
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp sweet paprika
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
¼ medium yellow onion, minced
½ jalapeño, minced
½ cup black beans
1 (12-oz) can evaporated milk
8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
8 oz Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
1 vine-ripened tomato, diced
2–3 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped

Directions
- Heat a deep skillet over medium heat and add 2 teaspoons of olive oil.
- Once hot, add the ground beef and season with garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and a generous pinch of salt.
- Cook for 2 minutes, then add the minced onion and jalapeño.
- Continue cooking for another 3 minutes, or until the the onion has softened.
- Drain off any excess fat, either by spooning it out or through a fine-mesh strainer. Return the pan to medium heat, add the beans then pour in the evaporated milk, and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Simmer for 3 minutes, then turn off the heat.
- Add the shredded cheese a little at a time, stirring constantly until fully melted and smooth.
- Top the queso with diced tomatoes and fresh cilantro before serving with King's Hawaiian Pretzel Bites!
