Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Fairway Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp  butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp  finely minced onion
  • 1 tbsp  white wine
  • 1 tsp  Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp  lemon juice
  • 1 tsp  dried parsley
  • 1 tsp  seafood seasoning
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/8 tsp  freshly ground black pepper
  • 12 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 (4-6 oz) boneless shell steaks
  • 2 tsps  Fairway Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Fairway Hot Chili Sauce (optional)

Directions

  1. 1Whisk 1 tbsp olive oil, butter, onion, wine, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, parsley, seafood seasoning, garlic, and black pepper together in a bowl; add 1 tsp of Fairway Hot Chili Sauce for added kick, if desired; add shrimp. Toss to coat evenly. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for flavors to blend, at least 15 minutes.
  2. 2Lightly oil a heavy skillet, preferably of cast iron, and place over high heat until it is smoking hot. Coat steaks with 2 tsps Fairway olive oil; sprinkle steak with salt and pepper.
  3. 3Add steaks and cook until they are beginning to firm and have reached your desired doneness, about 5 to 7 minutes per side.
  4. 4Transfer steaks to a large serving plate and loosely tent with a piece of aluminum foil.
  5. 5Pour shrimp and marinade into skillet and cook until they are bright pink on the outside and the meat is no longer transparent in the center, 2 to 3 minutes per side. Optional: Serve with a side of Fairway Hot Chili Sauce for dipping.
