Fairway Market Rain Check Policy

We strive to have advertised items in stock at all times. In the event we are out of stock, we commit to either:

Offering equal savings on a substitute item
Giving the value of the promoted item for quantities less than the purchase requirement or
Offering a raincheck for the item that was out of stock

At the manager’s discretion and as allowable by law, some items are not eligible for rain checks. See the store for details. The following guidelines apply:

Rainchecks are redeemable for 60 days from the date of issue at any Fairway Market store where the item is regularly available.
Rainchecks are limited to one per customer, per item, per promotional week and will only be issued for the specific flavor/variety that is out of stock.
Each raincheck may be limited to a quantity of 4 of any sale item. Purchase limits are stated on the rain check and are subject to change.
When items are advertised as “must buy”/“when you buy” a raincheck may be issued for up to 4 offers at the manager’s discretion.
- For example, if an item is advertised as "3 for $2.00 – must buy 3 to receive savings,” a rain check may be issued for up to 4 purchases of 3 items each (for a total of 12 items).
We cannot issue rainchecks for items that: have limited seasonal availability, are discontinued, or are advertised as “limited quantities,” “limited to store stock” or “while supplies last.”
Fairway Market will attempt to notify customers who received rainchecks when their item becomes available, if its retail value is $15 or more. Notification can be provided only for customers who supply a current name, email address and telephone number.
Rainchecks are good for a single, one-time use and must be redeemed in full within one transaction. Please hand rainchecks to the cashier along with any paper coupons at the start of the order
Rainchecks are not eligible for redemption on online orders, except where required by law.
Rainchecks may include the value of paper Fairway Market coupons that are printed in our circulars. Terms and/or limits printed on the paper coupon will apply.
Digital coupon savings may be included, that are printed in our circulars, when rainchecks are issued provided the digital coupon is loaded to your Fairway Insider account card at the time the rain check is issued. Digital coupon terms and limits apply. (i.e. if a digital coupon is a limit 1 it will only be offered on one rain checked item, even though a rain check may be issued for up to 4 items). Rainchecks that include a digital coupon may be used once and must be redeemed in a single transaction.
