2 lb boneless USDA prime London broil steak, 2 in. thick
1In a small bowl, make marinade by mixing vinegar, olive oil, garlic, savory, salt and pepper. Pour into a shallow sealable container, or a resealable plastic bag. Add the London broil to the marinade and let sit at a minimum of 2 hours, up to overnight.
2Pre-heat broiler and remove London broil from marinade. Place the broil on the top rack of your oven, cooking 4-5 minutes per side, to desired doneness. Remove from the oven, and let rest for a minimum of 5 minutes before carving. Slice the London broil into thin strips, cutting across the grain.
